The GP LS air intake is designed around the stock gm ls3 intake manifold featuring a 4'' aluminum mandrel bend pipe to allow maximum air flow, along with two 4'' silicone couplers for the throttle body and the 45-degree elbow. This kit requires the use of a Gen4 ls3 cartridge style mass air flow sensor. This kit also includes 4 stainless steel t bolt clamps to provide a maximum seal. The heat shield provides a true cold air keeping the heat away from the filter keeping intake temps down to provide additional hp. No fabrication is required as the heat shield utilizes one bolt off the core support and one off the fender. kit also includes an oiled filter that's constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. Air filter is washable and reusable. Available in two color options, raw aluminum or satin black. please allow additional time for powder coat option. vehicle must be tuned after install.
